BioI'm a Brighton based programmer working for an Engineering firm near the Steine, mainly concerned with CNC control systems. I've been here about 6 years now, having gone to Uni at Sussex and loving the place so much I've stayed.
In the grand scheme of things I would love to buy (or build/restore) a boat (none of this power yacht bollocks, a proper mast driven sailing ship) and pretty much just sail around the world for the rest of my life, either after winning an enormous amount of money from somewhere, or teleworking from onboard. That would be an absolute dream for me.
A small sideline that has sprung up pretty much from nowhere (and threatens to take over my life lol) is my interest in the furry fandom and associated fursuit making. It started as just a tail for myself but after another few for friends and a bit of word of mouth, it is now an international business 0.o (well technically - if you count Denmark as international :P). Its all going pretty well, and has started to become self sustaining (i.e. the money i'm getting in is paying for all the supplies i'm buying). In a year or so, if its doing well I may consider making it a p/t or maybe even f/t business and see if I can live from it, as it's an incredible amount of fun and something that really lets me exercise my creative muscles.
